Exeter salon up for national award

The finalists for HJ’s 2015 British Hairdressing Business Awards have been announced and Exeter’s Radiance MediSpa salon has been shortlisted for the Front of House category, sponsored by Salon Genius.

After a two-day judging process, category sponsors, influential business associates and industry peers respected for their vision and success, agreed that the Radiance MediSpa as a leader within their chosen discipline. Along with five other finalists, Radiance MediSpa will now wait until Monday 14th September when winners are announced by a celebrity media host at the prestigious ceremony held at the Lancaster London Hotel. 

“Britain is seen as a leader within the global hairdressing community and we are proud of our professionals at all levels.

They are intuitive, resourceful and creative in every sense of the word and the entries submitted across all categories demonstrated a commitment that other industries could benefit from. Radiance MediSpa should be extremely proud of their achievements so far,” commented Executive Director, Jayne Lewis-Orr.

“Receiving the news that we finalised for a British Hairdressing Business Awards was an incredible feeling. Putting the entry together gave us the opportunity to look at our business from an outsider’s viewpoint. It was a very useful business tool and has allowed us to see where we can make improvements, and to finalise has been the pinnacle of the journey so far,” stated the team at Radiance.

In addition to the above, HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards reward and recognise the expertise required to run a successful hairdressing business from Marketing, Salon Design, Training and Website/Innovation through to the personal skills of the Business Director, Franchisee, Manager, Salon Stylist, Junior and Salon Team.

Recognition is also given to those offering exceptional standards in Customer Care with the winning Salon of the Year has to demonstrate exceptional standards across all salon disciplines. Reflecting the high street demand for barber and grooming salons, HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards have also introduced the Male Grooming Salon of the Year category for 2015.
