1.Meditate

When it comes to clearing the mind, it’s unlikely anything better than meditation exists. With that being said, you should take part in this activity every day for at least ten to fifteen minutes. It will help you hit the reset button on your brain, so you can afterwards be ready for new tasks and challenges. Just make sure that you are in a peaceful surrounding, or outdoors if the weather is nice, close your eyes, and let go of all your thoughts.

2.Learn to Say “No”

Sometimes you have to learn to reject certain invites, because it will definitely not give you enough time to spend with yourself. If you are always on a busy schedule, you shouldn’t agree to every idea that people throw at you. You have to stay at home on a Friday night occasionally, if you don’t want your brain to be clogged up and filled with tension. If you don’t take a break for a long time, it is possible that tension in your mind builds up so much that you will have to spend a few days in complete peace for it to be cleared properly.

3.Take a Break from Everything

If you feel really high tension in your mind, then even the things you love can seem boring or even stressful. This is exactly the reason why you need to learn to take a break from absolutely everything. Forget about music or your favorite food, because those things won’t always be able to help you relax and let go of the stress. Instead, just sit or lie down, and take a break from everything, including thinking.

4.Focus on One Thing at a Time

Sometimes it is just hard to see things clearly when you have a lot of tasks to do throughout the day. However, you can actually help relax your mind if you learn to focus on only one thing at a time. This way, you won’t be overwhelmed with thinking about how much time you have left, or other unimportant things that might stir you away from your task; thus making you work more efficiently.

5.Indulge in a Hot Bath

You might not always find the perfect surrounding for relaxation outdoors or in an empty room, so remember that you can always rely on a hot bath. Other than it clearing the mind, heat also relaxes the muscles in your body. However, if you want something more than just a simple hot bath, you can try to decorate your bathroom and make it an in-home spa.

6.Exercise Daily

Exercise is known to boost endorphins, which are neurotransmitters that are responsible for the feeling of excitement and satisfaction. People who exercise every day know that they occasionally experience a state of euphoria after a good workout. Apart from that, exercise is also responsible for a reduction of stress levels. 20 – 30 minutes daily is quite enough of exercise to help you on your mission to clear your mind.

7.Eat Right If you want to be concentrated, you should definitely cut back on coffee, energy drinks, and sodas. You might think that they can help for concentration, and they might for a few hours. However, afterwards, you will feel much worse than before, and it will be harder for you to clear your mind then. Remember that if you consume healthy foods, your brain will be healthy too.
