The Exmouth Players are holding open auditions for its March 2019 production of The Vicar of Dibley at 11.00am on 28th October and/or 4th November 2018 at The Blackmore Theatre, Bicton Street, Exmouth.

The Vicar of Dibley is a stage play by Ian Gower and Paul Carpenter adapted from the original TV series by Richard Curtis and Paul Mayhew-Archer with the kind permission of Tiger Aspect Productions, which supports Comic Relief.

The arrival of a new vicar in Dibley shakes up the parish council of a sleepy English village.

These auditions are open to both members and non-members of The Exmouth Players.  Thus, they are open to you all regardless of experience and whether you have acted before or not.

(The presentation of The Vicar of Dibley is subject to Licence)

This production will be directed by Ryan Wilce.

The audition itself will consist of a 2 hour workshop which will give Ryan a chance to see how everyone works together, and also the opportunity to see everyone’s comic timing and ability to have fun with the text.  Ryan may also request the reading of one or more audition pieces – these will be available nearer the time.
