Actors from Kneehigh Theatre Company and from the Eden Project have created a show from the plays, correspondence and diaries of Nick Darke, the much-loved Cornish playwright, poet, lobster fisherman, environmentalist, beachcomber, broadcaster, film-maker and chairman of St Eval Parish Council.

Fusing extracts from lesser-known works with firm audience favourites such as The King of Prussia and Hell’s Mouth, and featuring exclusive extracts from Nick’s private journals, this imaginative show explores the creative process of the writer and creates an exciting new showcase for Nick’s astonishing body of work.

A Villages in Action event. Tickets at £8.50 are available from the Post Office or by phone on 01395 271 915.
