Exeter Musical Society begins its 110th anniversary celebrations with the Olivier award-winning Me and My Girl.

A sublime treat for musical comedy fans of all ages.

Lambeth costermonger, Bill Snibson, discovers he is the illegitimate heir to Lord Hareford and uses his wit and humour to break down the class divisions with his aristocratic relations.  The fun and games never cease as they attempt to educate cheeky and cheerful Bill into the ways of the gentry and to separate him from his cockney girlfriend Sally. This toe-tapping musical, which includes songs The Sun Has Got His Hat On, Leaning on a Lamppost, Me & My Girl and the famous Lambeth Walk, makes a joyful, colourful and gloriously funny show that will lift the spirits of everyone.

Originally produced at the Adelphi Theatre, London, by Richard Armitage.  Subsequently produced at the Marquis Theatre, New York City, by Richard Armitage, Terry Allen Kramer, James M. Nederlanded and Stage Promotions Ltd & Co.
