Exeter University Gilbert and Sullivan Society return in their 46 year with the critically acclaimed and hilarious political satire, Iolanthe.

Iolanthe focuses on Strephon, a half mortal and half immortal shepherd.  Strephon hides this mysterious secret from his love, Phyllis, who is adored not only by Strephon but by the entirety of the House of Lords including the Lord Chancellor himself. When Phyllis catches Strephon with his mother, Iolanthe, who on account of being immortal looks the same age as Strephon, chaos and confusion ensues.

Along with their usual charm and wit that can be found nowhere else, Gilbert and Sullivan's musical is brought to life by some of the best singers Exeter University has to offer.
