Assistant to Legendary Director Peter Brook Brings His Own Direction to Exeter

From the devastation of the Leningrad Blockade, came one of the most life-affirming pieces of music ever to be composed. Hear the story of Dmitri Shostakovich's 7th symphony, as told by 3 performers and, of course, the music itself.

Jared McNeill, long-time member of legendary director Peter Brook's touring company, has directed a concert-play exploring the symphony which lifted an entire city in its darkest hour, instilling renewed faith in our capabilities as individuals, as well as the dignity and power that art may serve.
