Comedian, entertainer, magician and presenter Martin Daniels is a spectacular stage and screen performer, captivating audiences with his uproarious sense of humour, charming personality and consummate magical skill.

The son of legendary TV magician Paul Daniels, Martin harboured ambitions to become a performer from a young age. At the age of 17, he took the plunge on a career in show business, making his debut in a summer season in Newquay. He didn’t have to wait long to be thrust into the limelight.

Game for a Laugh was one of Britain’s biggest TV programmes of the 1980s and Martin was chosen as one of the presenters in the final two series of the practical joke show hosted by Jeremy Beadle. Still in his early twenties, Martin was catapulted to stardom in a show that received over 17 million viewers every week – millions more than the biggest shows of today including Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor.

Martin’s TV career continued in earnest and he went on to host ITV game show, Lingo and became a presenter on CITV. Next came five series on the BBC’s BAFTA nominated Les Dennis’ Laughter Show interspersed with appearances on various TV shows both in the UK and abroad.

The stage has always been a second home to Martin and he has toured with performers of the calibre of Jane McDonald, Lenny Henry, Les Dennis and MC Hammer, as well as making five appearances on

The Royal Variety Performance. One of his biggest appearances to date was taking part in the VE Day Concert in Hyde Park attended by the Queen, Prince Philip, Princess Anne and Princess Margaret, plus an audience of 150,000 others!

Martin is also a published author, having penned a book entitled Cunning Stunts – The 50 Best Pub Tricks and Brain Teasers. In recent times, he demonstrated his magical ability in a special guest appearance with his father on ITV’s Penn & Teller: Fool Us, managing to bamboozle the great illusionists themselves!

Martin’s unique blend of magic and comedy has proven incredibly popular with audiences across the UK, and he is a firm favourite on the entertainment circuit.
