Steeped in hummable pop and psychedelic prog , composer and songstrel, Billy Bottle has been described as the princely heir to the so-called Canterbury scene. Bottle is complimented by the warmth and soul of Martine Waltier on vocals and tingling violin. Their passionate conspirators, The Multiple, host, local jazz heroine, Roz Harding on fiery saxes and Viv Goodwin-Darke on balletic flute, all topped off with skanking trombone, courtesy of Angus Menter. Their rhythm section feature Jim Rintoul, on basses. Expect Steely glances to funk, sumptuous nods to the east and high drama along the way…
