The inaugural Wonder Fields Festival will be coming to fields in Devon from July 17th-19th 2015.

The festival is taking place at Great Fulford, Dunsford near Exeter, but this is no Glastonbury Festival! Hosting just 500 fun-loving folk from across the South-West and beyond, Wonder Fields aims to bring the spirit of imagination, fun and of course wonder, to the countryside, with the event featuring 60 music acts, a children’s area, spa, crafts and wild food foraging amongst many other activities.

Multi-genre music includes acts such as Bristol-based heavy weights Dub Mafia, London-based ska kingpins Popes of Chillitown and Devonshire based GYPFUNK who will be playing some French café covers while showcasing some serious accordion skills.

Alice De Haan, one of the co-founders of Wonder Fields, says: “Wonder Fields Festival is a product of a dream, that became a vision and is now, soon, to become a reality. This vision is something we want to share with as many of you as possible. It will be a weekend of music, laughter and joy filled with artistic expression. You can expect a family and community feel through the fields which is integral to the experience that is being developed for the event.”

Music is just a fraction of what is on offer at Wonder Fields. The fabulous spa area is provided by Cornwall-based Kernow Springs whilst daily yoga is on offer from Devon’s ‘All to Love’. There’s a Sunday banquet with Into the Wild, an evening of themed dressing-up, immersive performances, circus workshops and so much more.

The Wonder Fields will be supporting the charity, Temwa. Temwa works to support the people of northern Malawi, one of the most disadvantaged and remote areas in the world. TEMWA aims to fight poverty, hunger and disease in Malawi through community-scale projects.

Great Fulford, the venue for Wonder Fields Festival, is home to the Fulford family, famed for their appearances on BBC3s ‘Life is Toff’. It is a historic country house in an idyllic setting. Wonder Fields will be taking place within the grounds of the estate.

Tickets for Wonder Fields range from £35 to £69, with children under 11 entering free. Tickets are available via the website www.wonderfields.co.uk
