Classical music in the setting of the British Wildlife Photography Awards exhibition.

The programme includes:

Beethoven – Sonata for cello and piano in A Op.69
Debussy – Sonata in G Minor
Brahms – Sonata for Cello and Piano in F Op.99

Raphael Wallfisch

Raphael Wallfisch is one of the most celebrated cellists performing on the international stage. He has enjoyed a world-wide career playing with such orchestras as the London Symphony, London Philharmonic, Philharmonia, BBC Symphony, English Chamber Orchestra, Hallé, City of Birmingham Symphony, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Berlin Symphony, Westdeutscher Rundfunk, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Indianapolis Symphony, Warsaw Philharmonic, Czech Philharmonic and many others. He is regularly invited to play at major festivals such as the BBC Proms, Edinburgh, Aldeburgh, Spoleto, Prades, Oslo and Schleswig Holstein. He is joined by his regular duo partner John York, with whom he has made many recordings.

Museum doors open at 6.30pm. The concert begins at 7.30pm. Drinks will be available prior to concert and during interval.
