Singer/songwriter Chris began his recording career in 1992 with the critically acclaimed album ‘Only Human ’and achieved Record Of The Week on Radio 2 with his song ‘We Were Children’. He has released four albums of original songs and legendary DJ ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris referred to him as one of his favourite artists of the year.

In 2010 Chris began touring with his solo show ‘The Music of John Denver’ celebrating the life and work of the legendary singer/songwriter in his own unique way. He has recorded several radio specials for the BBC  and toured extensively in the North of England for the last three years. Chris was honoured to be asked to perform in Aspen, Colorado in October 2012 for the annual Celebrations of John Denver’s life and work. He performed with Steve Weisberg, John Denver’s lead guitar player on all his platinum albums during the 70′s. Chris and Steve performedseveral concerts together, their final performance in Aspen being an unforgettable show at Windstar-Denver’s eco awareness centre in the heart of the rocky mountains. John Denver’s long time friend Peter Plantec said after Chris and Steve’s concert at Aspen Community Church, ‘I wasn’t watching John tonight but all of the magic was there.’

For the first time Chris brings his show to Exeter, he is very much looking forward to performing to the Barnfield  audience and hopes to make it the first visit of many.
