An exciting new jazz orchestra will be “locking horns” in public for the first time at a charity gig in Exeter on Sunday 2nd February.

Formed in Autumn 2013, the Locked Horns Jazz Orchestra features musicians from all over the county and plays a range of jazz from across the ages.

This, their first ever live performance, will take place at the Monkey Suit on Sidwell Street from 8pm and will be a great opportunity to relax and catch up with friends while enjoying some great live music. Entry will be £2.00 each with profits being donated to Headway Devon – the local brain injury charity.
Founding member, Pete Hodges, says: I'm really looking forward to our first gig - we're really keen to show everyone what we can do. The fact that we can do it in support of an awesome local charity is even better!"

Holly Keatings from Headway Devon, the charity who will be benefiting from this gig, tells us: “Headway Devon are very grateful to the band for deciding to use their first ever live performance to raise money for local people with brain injuries. The funds and awareness raised at this event will make a real difference to us and the people we support and the money raised will be used towards our appeal to secure the XCentre on Exeter Quay as our permanent home.”
