Devon-based folk musician Jim Causley has recorded an album of the poetry of his distant relative, the celebrated Cornish poet Charles Causley who died ten years ago, set to music and recorded in his house in Launceston. He used Causley Senior’s old piano and recorded with Julie Murphy of Fernhill and Ceri Owen-Jones as well as guitarist Pete Berryman and Cornish group Dalla. Jim, Julie and Ceri are now touring the show, based around Julie and Jim singing the material and accompaniment on piano, harp, accordion, fiddle and trombone.
