
Isca Ensemble Classics from Scratch Concert
A very special summer workshop and concert on Saturday 1 June. As part of the orchestra's Tenth Anniversary celebrations, the Isca Ensemble will be staging a special all-day orchestral workshop commencing 10am culminating in a free concert at 7.30pm. Collection in the evening concert for Save the Children.
The following works will be studied throughout the day ' from scratch' and presented in concert format by 7.30 p.m. A real challenge for the players and conductor!
Programme will include :
Wagner : Overture 'Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg
Dvorak : Symphony No 8
There is provision for a few extra strings to be involved.

The Isca Ensemble started as a small string group specialising in performances of Rennaisance and early Romantic repertoire. It rapidly grew into a full Chamber Orchestra with added woodwind and brass with a corresponding expansion of repertoire.
