Exeter Choral Society Concert in aid of Devon Freewheelers

On Wednesday 11 December 2013 Exeter Choral Society will be performing at St James' Church, Mount Pleasant, Exeter. We look forward to welcoming our audience, in this our 70th anniversary year, the choir having been founded in 1943 as the Whipton Choral Society.

The program includes J S Bach's Cantata 140 "Sleepers Wake", F Schubert's Mass in G, and Christmas Carols by John Rutter.

Our Musical Director is Laurence Blyth and the choir will be joined by an orchestra led by Julie Hill with soloists: Elizabeth Drury, Julian Rippon and Edward Woodhouse.

Tickets are £10 (or £5 for NUS students, free for accompanied under 16's) and will be available on the door. The ticket price includes a mince pie and a drink.

The concert is in aid of Devon Freewheelers, a group of advanced motor bike riders who provide an out of hours' emergency response courier service to the NHS.
