Chris Difford is a rare breed. As a member of one of London’s best-loved bands, the Squeeze co-founder has made a lasting contribution to English music with hits such as ‘Cool For Cats’, ‘Up The Junction’, ‘Labelled With Love’, ‘Hourglass’ and ‘Tempted’.

Despite the fact that Chris has helped soundtrack so many fans’ lives since his first release in 1977, the passion for innovation and love of playing still drives him to carry on writing rather than sit back and admire his handiwork. Chris recently celebrated his 60th birthday and for 41 of those years he has been writing with Glenn Tilbrook, very much the Odd Couple.

When Squeeze take a break from the road, Glenn and Chris have been touring their ‘At Odds Couple Tour’ both in the UK and the US. Chris has written a book released this August by Orion Books, an autobiography called ‘Some Fantastic Place’. This run of shows with Boo Hewerdine is to support the release of the paperback version of the book. .

Chris’s forth studio solo album set for release later in the year is called ‘Fancy Pants’ a play with music, written with Boo Hewerdine. Ivor Novello Songwriting Award Nominated Boo Hewerdine (The Bible / Eddi Reader). Boo Hewerdine (The Bible / Eddi Reader) released his critically acclaimed Swimming In Mercury album and Seven song " Letter To My Younger Self" EP, music which is widely considered to be his best work yet.

As a recording artist, Boo’s first tentative steps came with the band, The Great Divide before the formation of his much-loved eighties group The Bible and a career that subsequently bloomed such that he is now in constant demand as a musician, songwriter (writing one of Eddi Readers hits ‘Patience of Angels’) producer, teacher and live concert performer. "What The Beatles might have sounded like in 2017 – ingenuous and classy songwriting - Boo Hewerdine" Louder Than War “Boo Hewerdine is one of the country’s most consistently admired songwriters’ Radio UK
