“On completing the score of Gerontius Elgar wrote, ‘This is the best of me,’ and it is certainly one of the great choral works,” says Andrew. “I feel I have some affinity with Elgar’s music as I spent my boyhood around the Malvern Hills and have taken part in many performances of The Dream. I look forward to leading the workshop and exploring the work from the choral perspective.”
