Wyn Appleford paints for pleasure at A la Ronde

‘Painting for pleasure’ is an exhibition of paintings by local artist, Wyn Appleford, inspired by her travels in Britain and abroad, many with a maritime theme. The exhibition can be seen, free of charge, in the stable and award winning tearooms at A la Ronde near Exmouth between 17 July and 30 July, 10.30am–5pm.

Wyn is originally from Scotland but moved to the South West many years ago.  She loves A la Ronde and  its beautiful setting overlooking the Exe estuary, with its wild flowers, hay meadow and relaxing ambience – just what an artist needs to get inspiration.

Wyn is hard pressed to match supply with demand for her paintings and her work is owned by collectors from many parts of the world. Her paintings show a feeling for colour and she has a distinctive style of her own.

A la Ronde is open daily and entry to the exhibition in the stable and tea-room is free.
