The Day We Played Brazil exhibition
To tie in with the musical The Day We Played Brazil, Exeter City Football Club's unique history is celebrated in an exhibition at the theatre, which commemorates their match against the Brasileiros XI in June 1914.
The official exhibition is accompanied by a stunning display of artwork created by young people from the Clyst Vale Learning Community and is on view until Saturday 2 August.
You can view the exhibition between 10am and 6pm Monday to Saturday and Sunday an hour before the show starts.
The Day We Played Brazil celebrates the 100th anniversary of the extraordinary football match between Exeter City and the Brazil national team - the first-ever game played by Brazil.
The play is based on the extraordinary true story of Exeter City FC’s tour to South America in 1914.
Chosen by the Football Association as a typical British football club they became the first side in history to play the Brazilian national football team and in so doing not only made history themselves but also founded possibly the greatest force in world football.
