Calling all yarnheads. Poltimore House will once again be hosting lots of yarn (and more) based stalls and exhibits. This year we are pleased to have some fantastic workshops from nuno felting to paper cutting. Come and see parts of the house yarnbombed and browse the stalls for gifts or materials for your own craft activities. Then stop at the Chapel Cafe for refreshments and light lunches. The grounds will also be open to wander and relax in.
I am mainly clairaudient – in other words, instead of seeing any kind of visual imagery I hear voices, which are sometimes in my head and sometimes as if a person is standing next to me whispering in my ear. These voices can be crystal clear or they can be rather muffled, but either way I know they are the voices of people who have passed on from this life to the next.
Our 8 part comedy workshop, ‘An introduction to stand-up comedy’ will guide you through your first steps in the stand-up comedy world.
The workshop will help to develop and blend together the unique material, style and persona of each participant as they produce a short and tight set of stand-up comedy. Over the eight sessions you will explore a range of essential comedic performance skills and techniques and build confidence and self-awareness within the performance space.
