TEDx events are all about ideas worth spreading and TEDxExeter will be an inspirational day conference of talks, performance and films.

The invited guests, speakers and performers are people who are changing the world through their ground-breaking work and ideas.

They include Jonathon Porritt, sustainable development campaigner; Patrick Holden, founder of the Sustainable Food Trust; Stewart Wallis, executive director of the New Economics Foundation; Jo Royle, ocean advocate, explorer and marine conservationist; Pam Warhurst, local food campaigner; Peter Owen-Jones, author, BBC presenter and Anglican priest; Declan Bates, Professor of Biological Systems Engineering; Alberto Arribas, head of the Met Office seasonal forecasting group; Jo Berry, peace builder; Kirsty Schneeberger, advocate for intergenerational equity; Tom Crompton, change strategist at WWF-UK; Rebecca Mayes, singer songwriter; and Matt Harvey, writer, poet, enemy of all that's difficult and upsetting!

The event is from 9.25am to 5.30pm, with registration at 8.30am.
