The Flybe Suite at Exeter City Football Club will host voluntary and community groups who work to support family life in the city at a ‘conversation’ evening on 23 May.

All families know that it’s good to talk. When people who deliver services to families get together to talk, practical ways to address local needs will be on the table.

The event is organised by local representatives of national charity Redeeming our Communities (ROC), which aims to see community transformation by bringing together groups and individuals to share ideas for positive, grass-roots change.

From end of life care to crisis pregnancy advice, from support for young carers to the Foodbank and money advice, groups from across the spectrum of family support in Exeter will be represented.

PC Mark Oliver, who is leading the ROC Exeter Family Support team said, ‘by pooling ideas and resources and through strong partnerships, practical and sustained solutions can be developed to help tackle the pressing community issues that concern us all.’

The event is open to all including concerned individuals and representatives from family support agencies from all backgrounds. For more information or to book your place email rocexeter@gmail.com.
