Optix Solutions Annual Seminar
With the digital landscape changing on a daily basis, it's imperative to keep up to date with trends - past and present. Held at the beautiful Exeter Golf and Country Club, this event is for those of you who want to know what to expect in the near future and to ensure you’ve not missed out on any of the changes in the last year or so. At the very least you’ll come away with loads of ideas to take back into your business and start implementing.
After a full English Breakfast, Alastair Banks, Director of Optix Solutions will start the morning to review some of the big changes of 2018. We will then break into 3 workshops before coming back together for a talk from Simon Swan, Head of Digital at the Met Office will finish off with a talk on Digital Transformation and Strategy.

A choice of 3 workshops to attend:
GDPR Workshop - Glenn Pearson
As of the 25th of May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR, will overhaul how businesses process and handle data. Glenn Pearson will explain how GDPR will affect you and give advice on how to prepare your business and procedures.
Website Analysis Workshop - Curt Lewis
Learning from your existing website is part of planning for a new site. Ensuring your new website targets the right audience with the right information can only be achieved by learning from your current website. Learning about the latest trends in website design & development also ensures you stay ahead of the competition. Curt will detail the tools you can use to measure how successful your site is and give tips for ensuring your site continues to perform well.
Business Intelligence Workshop - Phil Husbands
To make well-informed decisions and maximise the efficiency of its processes, every business must know how to transform raw data into valuable information. But it isn’t enough to just create reports and dashboards. It's essential to also ensure that information is relevant, accurate, and interpreted by your business’s people in ways that create the maximum benefit.
In this workshop, Phil will uncover and describe the techniques which every organisation can use to bridge the gap between data and business benefits and increase the value of their digital investments.

Who Should Attend?
