
One Big Day
Disabled motorists and their families can explore their motoring options and find out all they need to know about the Motability Scheme this summer at the
One Big Day event at Westpoint, Exeter. The event, held on Saturday 16 July between 9am and 4pm, will showcase an extensive display of vehicles for disabled people in the UK.
There will be a range of 50 cars to see at the event from 13 leading manufacturers including Vauxhall, Ford, Nissan and Peugeot. In addition, over 30 scooters and powered wheelchairs will be on display as well as 20 Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles and products from adaptation suppliers. Visitors can also get advice from Motability Scheme advisors and gather useful information from Scheme partners – Kwik Fit, RAC and RSA Motability – as well as advice from The Forum of Mobility Centres and Disabled Motoring UK.
Visitors to the One Big Day event in Exeter can take to the wheel and test drive a range of cars, many of which are fitted with the most popular driving adaptations available on the Motability Scheme. Test drives take place with a professional driving instructor and are available to book on the day, all visitors need to do is to bring along their driving licence and chose which car to test out.
Free to attend and with free parking for all visitors, the One Big Day event in Exeter is fun for all the family with face painting, balloon modellers and the chance to meet the Motability Scheme mascot, Billy the Bear. Plus, everyone is treated to a free cup of tea or coffee when they arrive.
