Blue Fizz Events presents a fabulously unique and exciting pre-Christmas Party at historical Exeter Castle: The Midwinter Boho Ball on Saturday 26th November, 7pm–1am.

With Christmas just around the corner it’ll be a great time to discover your ‘inner boho’ and unleash the festive party spirit. The team from Blue Fizz Events will be styling this awesome venue from head to toe to create an unforgettable and one-off night of celebration.

The venue: Exeter Castle

THE most perfect venue for this ‘not to be missed’ party. Exeter Castle is steeped in history, and offers the perfect setting for a pre-Christmas party that’s fabulously different. Located just off the High Street in Exeter, the Castle delivers on every level.

On arrival

A celebratory glass of cold bubbly awaits. Take a seat and chill out in our urban jazz cocktail lounge, and listen to cool sounds of sexy jazz sax from Stacey Doherty, who has collaborated with the likes of High on Heels, Chali 2na, Jungle Brothers, Jimi Goodwin and MKM Collective.

Glastonbury’s famed DJ Louie Louie will be mixing Boho Beats fusion alongside sax genius Stacey Doherty.

DJ Louie Louie is no stranger to the boho beats life. A resident in the legendary Shangri-La area at Glastonbury, he’s played at many other summer festivals and is a fixture at regional vintage and steam punk events. He also hosts the popular Exeter vintage club night Blow Your Wig! (a Guardian Guide pick of the week). Expect a set that takes you from 50’s R&B through to funk, soul, house and electro swing!

A fabulous 3 course boho banquet will be served by brilliant food creatives Posh Nosh in the Castle Ballroom – see the full menu and timings below.

The Coffee Lounge

Afterwards, partygoers are invited to mix, chill and enjoy coffee and petite fours in our pop up coffee bar, and create funny and fabulous memories in the unique pop up Photo Booth.
