The 2014 Michelmores Charity Run takes place on Tuesday 10 June, starting at 7pm.

The 5K event begins on Cathedral Green before taking in Princesshay, the Guildhall Shopping Centre, back to the Northernhay memorial statue and on to Rougemont Gardens, for a short uphill sprint finish at Exeter Castle.

The event has now raised over £300,000 for local good causes with this year’s beneficiary being Macmillan Cancer Support.

Race organiser, Louise Edwards, said: “We are expecting a really great evening. There will be food and drink available for runners at Exeter Castle where there will be prizes for individuals, teams and a free raffle draw for everybody raising more than £50 in sponsorship."
