All are welcome to attend this act of worship, which will be led by the University of Exeter Chapel Choir (during the Cathedral Choir's Half Term holiday).
The service will take the form of the Lutheran Divine Office and include music by Bach, Buxtehude and Praetorius.
We welcome as our preacher Pastor Arno Bessel from St Peter's Lutheran Church in Plymouth.

About the anniversary

2017 is the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther posting his 95 theses on the door of the castle chapel in the German town of Wittenberg – an event that has become known as the starting point of the Reformation.
The idea behind marking the anniversary of the Reformation in 2017 in Great Britain is to promote the understanding of the significance of the Reformation for British society, the church and identity and consciousness of the Lutheran heritage.
