Exmouth French Market & Friends
Spring is here to banish the winter blues, and with it come the usual intoxicating colours, scents and sights associated with springtime - and local shoppers can expect just the same when Exmouth French Market & Friends returns!
Exmouth folk will be treated to the return of this exciting market for the first time since last summer, and it’ll be bringing with it a hefty splash of joie de vivre and ooh la la to Exmouth town centre.
The sights, sounds and aromas are bound to entice town centre shoppers, and the stalls, which will be packed to bursting with authentic, top quality delicacies, objets d’arts and fashion items, are bound to intrigue and delight them.
Whilst composed mainly of French traders, the market also features traders from other countries, including Italy, Spain and the UK, all of whom are handpicked for their experience and professionalism and the quality and popularity of their merchandise.
There’ll be a French delicatessen stall, with a range of exquisite artisanal terrines, patés, charcuterie and cured meats. There’ll be freshly baked bread and the finest French cheese and sausages (saucissons). There’ll be fresh olives and homemade olive oil, mustards and pasta. And for those who get peckish whilst looking around there’ll be paella, couscous and fajitas – perfect snacking to warm the cockles, and that’s just for starters.
For the kids and those of a more sweet-toothed disposition, there’ll be no end of temptations, including croissants and crépes (both sweet and savoury), Italian confectionery, candy, fudge, pastries, viennoiserie, baklava, nougat, Turkish Delight and fruit & nuts. The list goes on and on!
It’s all top quality, fresh and totally authentic food, with traditional ingredients and flavours that haven’t changed for generations and can’t be bettered. It’s a real taste of a traditional French market.
