Exeter Regatta
A record number of rowers from across the south west will be competing on Saturday (12 July) at the annual Exeter Regatta.
Over 100 sprint races take place over a 400 metre course along the River Exe. This provides close, exciting racing all day with eights, coxed fours, pairs, quads and single and double sculls.
The rowing regatta is a great day out for the family in a superb location. Make the most of it by taking a picnic, or treat yourself in one of the local cafes, restaurants or bars.
This year there will be an additional family friendly activity brought by Arts Wave Devon - a free children’s pop-up arts workshop themed to the regatta, which will run between 11am-4pm with artists James Lake and Monica Shanta Brown.
Racing takes place between 10.30am and 6.30pm.
