Exeter Festival Chorus Choral Workshop

Singers are invited to attend the celebrated annual Exeter Festival Chorus Workshop on Saturday 20th January, an exciting opportunity to share the joy of stimulating group singing in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

The Exeter Festival Chorus annual choral workshop is an open invitation for singers from far and wide to join in on a day’s exploration and cameo performance of a masterwork in the choral repertoire with Nigel Perrin, who is internationallyrenowned as one of the most exciting and inspirational choral directors of his generation, accompanied by Peter Adcock, one of the best répétiteurs in the business.

In 2018 they are tackling Orff’s Carmina Burana, his settings of 24 mediaeval poems covering a wide range of topics, as familiar in the 13th century as they are today: the fickleness of fortune and wealth, the ephemeral nature of life, the joy of the return of spring, and the pleasures and perils of drinking, gluttony, gambling and lust. Here is your chance to get new insights into this wonderful work with a master of the choral world.

So, come and join us for our 25th Anniversary Year Workshop!
