Salcombe Hill Walk - from the Bronze Age to 19th Century enclosure

A walk around the Salcombe Regis area, a landscape that has greatly changed since Peter Orlando Hutchinson's day as he records in detail the land being enclosed into the fields.

This walk takes in Bronze Age standing stones, first identified and mapped by Hutchinson, but also includes a lime kiln and a beautifully shaped standing stone.

Suitable for 8-80 year olds. Book by either ring the East Devon AONB office 01404 46663, or email Phil Planel, Heritage Project Officer, Phil.Planel@eastdevonaonb.org.uk
