Local business “Moving Pictures” is delighted to announce that they have been chosen to host the very first event of its kind in Europe to feature new additions to the Disney range “A Moment in Time” (which was launched last year). The new pieces are from Frozen and Cinderella. The event will be held at the Rougemont Hotel in Queen Street on Sunday 12 July. Webpage for the event is: https://www.facebook.com/events/1582748261979290/

Each stunning figurine is entirely handmade and hand painted in the Border Fine Arts’ Studio in the UK (for Enesco who are renowned worldwide for their innovative style). One of the UK’s most talented sculptors, Peter Mook, will be in attendance to demonstrate how the figurines are made. He worked alongside the Border Fine Arts design team to create the original studies for the “A Moment in Time” collection.

Peter will be accompanied by Rozanne Robb, a skilled painter from Border Fine Arts, who will
be adding the coal buttons and twig detail to the special event piece on the day. (This will also be an opportunity for those wishing to have their certificate of authenticity signed).

Olaf is the special event exclusive figurine, limited to just 500 pieces and only available to purchase at these special events. He is one of the most memorable and enchanting characters in Disney’s Academy-Award-winning film: “Frozen”, which was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale, The Snow Queen.

In addition to the special event pieces above, “Moving Pictures” will also have available many other Disney figurines. Together with an area for Disney pin trading, and plenty of space to chat and compare Disney stories this promises to be a really exciting event for Disney enthusiasts and should not be missed.

Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
