Day of Literature and Art at RAMM

Celebrate literature and art with a day of live storytelling, poetry, folklore and talks.

A display will show books by Devon authors and literature set in Devon, including illustrations, fine bindings and pop-up books. Bring a camera and take part in activities for all ages including mosaic-making.
Sam Smiles, Emeritus Professor of Art History at Plymouth University, will give a talk on Devon’s painters. Simon Hall, BBC Correspondent and writer of detective novels will talk on Reporting Crime, Writing Crime. John Madin, RAMM’s Curator of Fine Art, will lead tours of the art gallery.
