Talk followed by stargazing Join astronomy outreach Dartmoor Skies as they share with you some of the astronomical highlights to enjoy over the coming months.

Then, assuming the clouds are behaving themselves, they will lead you out into the grounds of Poltimore House where you can use a selection of telescopes and binoculars to see some of these wonders for yourselves.

Ask them all the questions about space that you’ve been longing to know the answer to, and get advice on start-up kits so you can get stargazing yourself.

Whether you’ve had a passion for astronomy all your life or are exploring the cosmos for the very first time, this is a welcoming and relaxed event for everyone.

This event will go ahead whatever the weather.

If we are unable to stargaze we will run additional activities after the ‘talky’ bit has ended. P.S Hot drinks will be available to buy from Poltimore House, but we recommend wrapping up to keep warm.
