About Canonteign Falls

Home to England’s highest manmade waterfall Canonteign Falls is a magnificent example of a Victorian folly set in 90 acres of ancient woodland. The waterfalls themselves descend for over 70m through ferns and woodlands. At the base of the falls, the woodland gives way to meadows and lakes making this one of the most breathtaking attractions in Devon.  There are plenty of children’s activities with playgrounds, nature trails, assault courses, bug sculpture, trampolines as well as a café priding itself in locally sourced homemade food and refreshments. There is also a charming gift shop. It provides a magical day out for all the family. Canonteign Falls is open with full compliance to Government Covid -19 guidelines.
