The West Country Historic Omnibus and Transport Trust (WHOTT) will be holding their 12th annual rally at the Westpoint, nr Exeter on 21 September.

Owners of historic buses, coaches and lorries will be meeting together to take a step back in time. View restorations of historic vehicles from around the south west and see how people used to travel around the counties. A great day out for the whole family.

WHOTT's mission is to establish and preserve for posterity a representative selection of omnibuses and other vehicles from the counties of Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset and relics relating to the vehicles and their operation. They hope to enhance this collection by providing secure long term accommodation for other historic omnibuses and other vehicles principally those with West Country connections.

The trust also aims to provide an archive of material relating to West Country road transport, and to facilitate public access to the collection, as well as act as a centre for the retention and development of the skills necessary for restoration of historic vehicles and associated relics.
