Spacex Artist Trevor Pitt Sets Up Preston Street Union

Spacex artist and independent curator Trevor Pitt is setting up Preston Street Union – PSU; an affiliation of artists from in and around Exeter that will come together over a five week period to explore collaboration as a strategy for artists. The event will take place from 13 October – 7 November 2015.

Educational charity Spacex works with artists and curators to enable access to contemporary visual art in the South West through a programme of projects and events that invite public participation and critical debate.

PSU will extend from elements of Pitt’s previous project Cannon Hill Art School, which was an eight week programme of lectures, seminars, workshops and personal tutelage from established artists for people who did not make it to art school.

PSU is aimed at visual artists at any stage of their development, regardless of age or experience as long as they are over 18. The project is ideal for those looking to expand the boundaries of their work and experience, are interested in collaborating with other artists and are keen to work in any art form.

A £25 contribution is recommended for the whole course which goes towards the continuation of PSU activities.

With only 15 spaces available, booking is essential. Book your place by emailing: bookings@spacex.org.uk
