Trill Farm (Axminster) will be hosting two special family camps this spring and summer!

Whilst taking in the beauty of Devon, families are encouraged to connect with not only each other but nature whilst exploring and discovering the landscape of this breathtaking county.

The farm will take you through a varied program of fun activities such as bushcraft, crafts, cooking and climbing. But also adrenaline fueled wild-swimming and zip-lining!

There will be family friendly activities available each creating relationships with nature. These will include wild foraging and fire-making, sneaking games and night walks, shelter-building, storytelling and music-making around the hearth.

Workshops will also take place including, drawing, clay painting, making herbal beauty products, whittling, hapa zome (using natural pigment from leaves to print onto fabric).

You camp on the beautiful land of Trill Farm, which has excellent eco-credentials. With solar heated outdoor showers, water from the farm spring, and composting toilets. It’s a gadget-free zone as there are no power outlets on the campsite.

The Trill Farm shop will be well stocked with seasonal supplies as families are encouraged to use the Farm’s resources as their larder whilst cooking meals around a fire on the BBQ.

The spring family camp takes place from Saturday 23rd May until Monday 25th May; adult tickets cost £100, under 16s £56 and under 5s may attend free of charge. A family ticket (which includes 2 adults and 2 children) is available for £296.

To fit with the relaxed, slow pace of these camps, numbers are strictly limited. For more information or to book, visit: http://www.trillfarm.co.uk/collections/family-camps
