It's a great day for man’s best friend this Sunday (14 April) as East Devon District Council hosts a special Dog’s Day Out in Phear Park, Exmouth.

From 10am – 4pm people and their canine companions can enjoy a huge range of free activities in aid of The Dog’s Trust.  Free micro chipping, a fun dog show, agility displays, a tombola and free giveaways are all on the cards as the council promotes responsible dog ownership in a fun, friendly way.

Over 15 stalls will feature merchandise, free goodies and a range of information from different groups, advising on dog health and wellbeing, behavioural problems, preventing dog barking complaints and identifying dogs to prevent straying.  Among those giving advice will be the council’s dog warden, Environmental Health team and a police dog handler.

All proceeds from the day will be donated to The Dog’s Trust.
