Roll up, roll up! It’s autumn once again! While our summer started rather damply, one of the greatest fireshows in the country will surely warm your cockles at the infamous Sticklepath Fireshow, Okehampton and District’s Guy Fawkes Night.

Set in the stunning amphitheatre of Finch Foundry garden this year’s show aims to be bigger, better and probably more quirky and off the wall than ever before, and is sure to put many others into the shade. So whatever you may have arranged or are considering then please change course this year, set sail for Sticklepath and discover a Fireshow like no other. You will not be disappointed!

This is the 29th year of the Fireshow, and after last year’s return of Guy Fawkes to Dartmoor, he has been summoned to far off climes, where once again evil abounds and mysteries are unravelled. As always the theme for the show is top secret until the night but you can be assured that Guy Fawkes will be sent to another fiery death on another amazing and incredible wooden set that will set the stage for this years show

This year’s Fireshow, “Bamboozled” is at Finch Foundry Field, Sticklepath.

Refreshments are available. There is very limited parking in the village, and we would encourage people to use the free shuttle bus which runs from Okehampton (outside Martins newsagents and Giblands bus stop). The first bus is at 6.15pm and the last 7.15pm, returning after the show.

Tickets are limited! They are available in advance from Donald’s Menswear & The Flower Pot (Okehampton) as well as Sticklepath and South Zeal stores. There will be a limited number of on the night tickets this year for sale on the main gate outside Finch Foundry from 6pm. The committee would like to stress that tickets should be purchased in advance to avoid disappointment on the night.

Please Note: No alcohol, fireworks or sparklers are allowed on the field.

Do wear warm and waterproof clothing. Fireshow is never postponed due to rain or average windy conditions. It would only ever be postponed in the event of severe stormy weather, where the bonfire and fireworks could cause a potential danger to the crowd and surrounding buildings.

The show is held at Finch Foundry Field by kind permission of The National Trust.

Gates open 6pm

Tickets: £7 adults, £3 children under 14.
