Who are your potential successors and are they in the business?

Does your business nurture its talent?

Every good leader should be planning their succession and developing their successor as a vital part of their leadership role. That way succession is a smooth process and an organisation’s lifespan potential increased. Leaders who are imported from an external source will have to get to understand the culture of an organisation before they can become effective as leaders; leaders from within will already understand it. Yet most business leaders still continue to look without their organisation, is this because they maybe more familiar with an internal candidates strengths and weaknesses?

This breakfast will enable delegates to:

* Identify talent
* Nurture talent
* Understand how succession works
* Choose a successor
* Develop a succession strategy
* Prepare a succession/handover plan

Phil hosted a seminar at a Business Network SW event on Improving your people power. The session was brilliant and full of great examples that you could readily take into your business. Phil covered three leadership lessons and a business audit all helping to identify and explore new opportunities. The session was delivered with expert knowledge, humour, participation from all attendees and really showcased the talents of Sampson Hall. I would thoroughly recommend Sampson Hall for developing your leadership skills!
