ON 30TH JUNE 2015, 8.30AM UNTIL 5PM AT THE PLYMOUTH SCIENCE PARK

Alexis Bowater of Bowater Communications and Chris Jenkins, Director of Operations at The Plymouth Science Park play important roles in the Venus Awards and as a key sponsor of the Venus Awards for 2014 and 2015 - Sampson Hall are delighted to collaborate with them in bringing this opportunity for personal development to Business Women in Plymouth and beyond.

The Sampson Hall Women In Business Away Day is designed to offer business women a fantastic opportunity of working together with like-minded individuals, sharing business ideas, in an inspired, motivated and positive environment. It also allows valuable time away from the office for important self-development and reflection.

Delegates leave with processes to help them manage their time, communicate effectively with staff and clients and work on their own qualities as a leader in business.

The day will be dynamic, interactive and fun and will offer the participant great personal development opportunities. Delegates will leave with tools that they can use in their business for ongoing development of not only themselves but the teams they work with. They will be challenged to think differently about work issues in a supportive environment.

Sampson Hall are business experts who will take you through our proven exercises. Classroom learning will be enhanced and reinforced with fun and practical activities as an integral part of the day. The Sampson Hall team are dynamic, knowledgeable and inspiring presenters. They encourage interaction and learning from one and others experience.

All of our workshops are designed to offer return on investment as you will return to work in your business with new ideas and tools that you will be able to utilise and use immediately.

Delegates will learn:

· Time Management and Effective Delegation – time and people are your most precious resource and they are some of the most difficult resources to optimise, devise your own time management matrix to ensure you allocate the right amount of time to the things that need doing, know how to organise yourself to get more out of your precious time through prioritisation.

· Motivational Leadership – understand and learn how to influence and motivate others to perform successfully, understand how to enhance your potential as a leader. Exceptional performance is only achieved through good leadership.

· Effective Communication – learn and understand what attitudes and behaviours are required for effective communication, overcome barriers to effective communication, develop your communication skills and ability to deliver the effect you need and want. Learn how and indeed what we communicate to others.

“I look forward to the day when it will be unnecessary to discuss the role of women in business"  Karren Brady June 2013
