Santa Needs Your Help!

The Cards for Good Causes Shop in Exeter has raised over £250,000 for charities in recent years. Popping in to Cathedral Close to buy Christmas cards for friends and family has become a local tradition for so many people.  It’s been one of the biggest charity card shops in the UK. Last year though was a real challenge due to COVID.  But Cards for Good Causes still opened its doors in a new shop in Paris Street.

The shop will be back very soon. Santa though needs your help! They are currently looking for a shop manager to join their festive team. The pop-up shop is always buzzing with Christmas spirit, do-gooding and tills ringing whilst raising vital funds for charity.

Cards for Good Causes is a not-for-profit organisation offering a wide range of cards and gifts that directly supports the charity sector. They support over 200+ local and national charities and have raised over £40 million for charity in the last 10 years alone. The Exeter pop-up shop is part of a network of more than 70 temporary shops around the UK. It represents national charities including Cancer Research UK, Alzheimer’s Society, Barnardo’s and RNLI as well as a number of local charities too.

The Shop Manager role is a temporary one (October - December) and can be part-time with flexible hours. The job involves setting up and closing the shop, managing stock, managing a team of volunteers and raising awareness in the local community. New volunteers are also very welcome joining in the festive fun and fundraising.
