For the second year in a row, Exeter Business Improvements District (BID) will hold the city’s Christmas lights switch on event with a huge party for all the family to enjoy scheduled to take place in Princesshay Square on Thursday 16 November.

As well as live music from local musicians, the evening will mark the official switching on of Exeter’s city-wide festive illuminations and kick off the first of six Thursdays leading up to Christmas, when shops will stay open until late.

Property Search Group announces spectacles appeal for World Sight Day

In Property Search Group’s 20th year, 3 of its South West offices have joined forces to raise money for international charity Vision Aid Overseas.

In celebration of World Sight Day, PSG’s teams based in Swindon, Somerset and Plymouth are planning to visit law firms across the region to collect old spectacles for recycling. There’s a new bike on the streets of Exeter this autumn and it’ll be arriving at a school near you soon!

The bike in question is a very special three-wheeler and it belongs to local nature charity, Devon Wildlife Trust. Since April the Trust has been running a project which is working with most of the schools in Exeter, helping them to take their pupils out of the classroom and into the great outdoors to learn more about nature and themselves.
