Exeter-based, B Corp holiday company Luxury Coastal has unveiled a new interactive mapping tool providing seamless local recommendations for guests, using a technology developed in partnership with Brixham-based Geovey . The new maps provide access to the best recommendations in the south west – from secret beaches to local roasteries - enabling holiday guests to live like locals from the moment they step through the front door.

New centre to boost business

Entrepreneurs, inventors and small businesses in Devon are set to benefit from a unique new support service. Exeter Library has been chosen to pilot a Business & Intellectual Property Centre (BIPC) dedicated to supporting local entrepreneurs to start, run and grow their own businesses. Students' insight into renewable energy

Students across Devon have been gaining an insight into the training and work opportunities in renewable energy.

Kevin Ciolino, who has been a solar installer, operations manager and technical support specialist at SunGift Energy, met with Exeter College students at Falcon House Construction Training Centre.

New global team for Everys

Everys Solicitors has announced plans to launch a specialist commercial team to facilitate deals worth millions of pounds for global businesses.

Ahead of the launch Everys has already helped secure several high value business deals. Thai corporation, the Srivikorn Group Holdings Co Ltd, whose shareholder owns a large share of Reading Football Club, recently completed on the purchase of the Madejski Hotel, next to the club’s stadium.

Consumers in the South West prefer to do business with businesses employing apprentices, a new report from the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) has revealed.
