Kitsons staff take on charity challenge in memory of colleague

Staff from leading Devon law firm Kitsons are getting ready to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge this July to raise money for charity in honour of their friend and colleague, Mark Batten.

University of Exeter works with Cole Commission to improve international trade

The Cole Commission is in discussions with the University of Exeter Business School to explore the possibility of creating degree programmes specialising in international trade.

Residents are being given the opportunity to have their say on the proposed changes to ward boundaries in Exeter.

On Friday and Saturday (26 and 27 June), between 10am and 4pm, officers from the City Council will be at the historic Guildhall in the High Street to discuss the Local Government Boundary Commission for England’s (LGBCE) recommendation for ward boundaries in Exeter, which are currently the subject of public consultation.

Plans displaying the proposals will be available, together with comment forms which local residents are being encouraged to return to the LGBCE...

A Devon-based work placement company is preparing for its busiest summer yet with hundreds of trainees travelling to the South West from across Europe.

A record number of trainees, more than 220, will be welcomed by The Training Partnership (TTPL) in July. Another 75 will arrive in August.

The company, based at Torquay Innovation Centre, works with hundreds of Devon firms to provide placements in different sectors ranging from engineering and IT to tourism and retail.
