New research released today shows that over 63% of women living in the South West dream of starting their own business, motivated by the desire to bring more flexibility and earnings to their lives and the potential to be their own boss.

Fly-through shows early stages of work on Bridge Road in Exeter

Devon County Council has released a fly-through video and aerial photographs of Bridge Road, Exeter, capturing the route in the early stages of being widened.

The footage by Matt Cranfield, of Skyflicks, can be viewed here and provides a birds-eye view of the road at the start of the improvement scheme which got underway last month.

The rarely seen view of the road shows how the route looks and will provide an interesting comparison once the work is completed next year.

National Campaign to save Exmouth's Rolle Centre

A national fundraising campaign to save the former Rolle Centre is to be launched in Exmouth.

Details about the ‘Waste of Space’ campaign are being kept under wraps until the launch event, at the Owen Building at the former Rolle College site in the town, at 11am on Tuesday April 5.

The first new route to be operated under the Government’s Regional Air Connectivity Fund launches today with the start of Flybe flights between Exeter and Norwich airports.

More people will be able to watch TEDxExeter and discuss the talks they are hearing, thanks to three new public livestreams.

The main event, which takes place at the Northcott Theatre on April 15 2016, sold out in a record 22 minutes in December last year, and tickets for a simultaneous broadcast to Exeter University’s Alumni Auditorium sold in a day.
