Diana said:“Of course I am disappointed we didn’t win a seat but this was none-the-less a positive result and I am very grateful to the 655 people who voted for me. I am also hugely grateful to the dedicated team of members and supporters who supported the campaign.

Harlequins 24 Exeter Chiefs 62

This was capital punishment in it’s harshest form.

Rob Baxter’s side handed out arguably one of their finest displays in the Aviva Premiership to book themselves a first-ever semi-final in the end of season play-offs.

England star Jack Nowell led the way in a ten-try hammering of Harlequins, who were looking to give departing Director of Rugby, Conor O’Shea, the perfect send off before he heads for pastures new.

Instead, the Irishman could only watch on as Devon’s finest ran amok at the Twickenham Stoop. Nowell was crowned man...

Steenson scoops top Chiefs' award

Gareth Steenson admitted he was ‘lost for words’ after he was crowned Exeter Chiefs’ Player of the Year at their annual awards night.

In front of almost 600 people at the club’s Sandy Park Stadium, the Irish fly-half landed the highly sought after prize from his peers, beating off stiff competition from team-mates Don Armand and Will Chudley.

Steenson has enjoyed another stellar season in Exeter colours, not only topping the point-scoring charts in the Aviva Premiership, but also overtaking the long-standing record of Tony Yapp as the Devon club’s leading points-scorer....

Rob Baxter is challenging his Exeter Chiefs side to "want more" as they gear up for the club's first-ever appearance in the Aviva Premiership play-offs. The Chiefs will wrap up the final round of the scheduled domestic season at Harlequins tomorrow (3:30pm) knowing a victory in the capital will guarantee them home advantage in a fortnight's time in the last four. Last weekend's impressive 24-3 victory over Wasps saw them leapfrog the Midlanders back into second spot, effectively putting them back in control of their own destiny at such a crucial stage of the campaign. Buoyed by that...
