Exeter-based employment lawyer joins Westbank Community Health and Care’s Board of Trustees

The Devon-wide health and wellbeing charity, Westbank Community Health and Care, is delighted to welcome lawyer Henry Cross as its newest Trustee. Henry is a Senior Associate at Michelmores, specialising in employment law.

A father-of-two from Exeter, Henry already had a broad awareness of the charity when he met Westbank’s Head of Carers Services, Andy Hood, at a networking event a few years ago. More than 100 guests attended the latest Exeter Chamber of Commerce networking lunch which took place at the 2016 Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink.

Temporary lights on Bridge Road tonight

Temporary traffic lights will be introduced overnight on Bridge Road in Exeter this evening (Tuesday 24 May) from 11pm until 5am tomorrow morning (Wednesday 25 May).

The temporary signals are needed to allow the contractor safe working space to install a new temporary pedestrian crossing to access the Boat Club. This temporary access is needed during work on the Swing Bridge, which is due to start imminently.

Cathedral and Quay car park closed Wednesday

Exeter's Cathedral and Quay car park will be closed for one day on Wednesday (25 May) to enable a deep clean to be carried out.

All business and resident permit holders for this car park are being notified and asked to find alternative parking for Wednesday. They are advised that their parking permits will be honoured in any Exeter City Council pay and display car parks for this one day.

The Council apologises for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Chiefs Twickenham ticket information
